I wore a variation of this outfit to work last Wednesday that included black tights + heeled booties instead of the flats. But, when it was time for our Wine Club “meeting” on Thursday night, I opted for pink flats to match my new work purse. Remember last week when I was searching for an affordable college student on a budget purse? I ended up finding this one at Target on sale for $28. BOOM. I’m going to reward myself with a nice leather work tote once I get a full time job, but until then the $28 pleather Target tote is going to work 🙂
Anyways, trend #2 is…(can you guess it?)…faux fur!
Depending on how strict your dress code is, faux fur vests can easily be worn to the office. I paired mine with this (incredibly comfy) Old Navy dress, but if you work in a more conservative space, you could definitely wear black pants + a black blouse to tone it down. My vest went over well at work; I even had one co worker ask to “pet me.” haha.
PS. we took these photos earlier today while it was sleeting. yes, sleeting. how lovely..thank goodness for front porches!
