I love having statement pieces that can spice up almost any basics. My closet is full of solid colors, black and white polka dots, black and white stripes, and a few florals. In my opinion, all of these tend to mix & match really well, leaving me endless possibilities for outfits.
As much as I love crazy patterned dresses, after I wear them a few times I run out of ways to remix. Where I really like to go crazy is with my accessories. I would much rather have a wild patterned pair of heels that I can mix with many outfits! (PS. those crazy patterned heels are coming to the blog tomorrow!) This jacket from Walk Trendy is awesome because I can wear it with shorts, skirts, dresses, pants, even a jumpsuit. The pattern is full of colors, so it coordinates well with almost any of the solids in my closet.
