I go back and forth about quitting this blog probably once a month.
Sometimes more, sometimes less. I’m nowhere near as successful with it (followers & income wise) as I’d hoped I would be by 3 years in, but here I am still; sharing outfits, stories, struggles and life with you all.
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, it has become therapeutic for me. I’ve never been the girl to journal. Didn’t have the glitter covered Limited Too diary in middle school, never poured my soul out on Xanga as an awkward pre-teen (please tell me someone remembers that) and never felt the need to write down my thoughts at the end of the day.
But then something changed. I graduated college, life got even more awkward and transitional, and I realized I liked writing. Personally, I’ve been more satisfied with my blog posts the last 4-5 months. I feel as if I’m finally hitting my groove with my style and my writing.
That, combined with the utter lack of creativity at my full time job, have me leaning heavily on this little blog of mine. It’s something I can create, a brand I can design and manage, and hopefully a way I can help or inspire other people (even just a little).
So, thank you for following along! Please let me know if there is anything specific you would like to hear about from me on this space.
