Enter layering; my solution for making dresses and jumpsuits infinitely more versatile.

Winter is long, gray and by the time February rolls around it is damn near treacherous.
Dramatic, maybe, but let’s chat mid-February and see how we’re feeling haha.
I found myself beyond bored of my wardrobe by mid-January last winter so I started experimenting by layering turtlenecks under dressy tanks, sweaters over dresses and long sleeve tees under sleeveless jumpsuits. It helped keep me warm + add more looks to my wardrobe without spending any extra money.
In full transparency, we shot these photos over Thanksgiving when it was a balmy 50 degrees, so I was more than comfortable in these outfits. Now, with temps in the 30s, I would 100% add a my leather jacket over the dress and tee, and maybe tights or taller socks with both pairs of shoes.
I opted to size up and buy a medium in the sweater so it would be an oversized tunic. I’ve seen 5 or so women wearing this sweater in the last few weeks and it has great reviews. There are still 4 colors available…I love the green!
As far as the dress, the petite version is still available at ASOS. I always have to size up in European brands, so I am wearing a regular US 6 in the dress (in case you’re interested).

I honestly love both, but for day to day life I’d probably wear the sweater version more as it would be cozier and more functional. LOVE the dress, thiugh, it is obviously so versatile!
yes it is good. I can totally see you rocking the sweater and dress combo!
