hi friends! I just returned home from a long weekend exploring Baltimore, MD, where my friend Devin recently moved. I’ll be sharing a blog post on the city next week, but for now I figured I’d share what I packed + wore while I was there. We did A LOT of walking and were on the move constantly. I wanted my style to be fun + functional, as always. Sharing photos and links below! If items aren’t current I did my best to link similar.
Thursday + Friday –
I flew in Thursday night and wanted to be comfortable but pulled together, since Devin was picking me up and we were heading right to dinner. This black knit midi dress from Banana Republic has been in my closet since 2018(?) and it NEVER fails me. It is the perfect midi dress – appropriate length, a thick but not clingy knit, can be dressed up or down, insanely comfortable. They have a similar version this year I’m linking below.
I went with Devin to work remotely on campus Friday morning and we had lunch, shopped and explored – so a simple graphic tee, jean shorts and Birks were perfect for a very hot and humid day.
On Friday night we went to dinner then an outdoor Jack Johnson show, where I opted for this fun green dress and lace up leather sandals! I’m linking the EXACT GREEN DRESS here because it wouldn’t pull in my gallery below.
Then Saturday we braved the humidity and on/off rain for brunch and then local shopping and exploring Fell’s Point. My hair was a wreck at this point so a nylon baseball hat was 10000% necessary. I wore an old romper from Athleta that was quick dry (which they sadly didn’t bring back this year), my Birks and a belt bag.
Lastly, Saturday night we did a fancy dinner, so naturally I got overdressed in this rainbow midi I’ve been excited to wear! Here is the EXACT LINK to the dress. I paired it with some colorful accessories, of course. You gotta lean in.
Then, on Sunday, we brunched and visited the Baltimore Museum of Art, which was the perfect spot for this dramatic bodysuit I had purchased the day before at Poppy + Stella, a local boutique. Shop the bodysuit here! I love it so much. THE SLEEVES. Can’t wait to style it a ton of different ways.
Those are all my looks from the trip – I’ll be sharing all the places we ate, shopped and explored next week.
Thanks for reading!
xo, Maddy
